A lesson in taking Panning Shots

Standing outside the car dealer's place in Greenville with nothing to do and a camera in hand. I thought I would never get a better time to try out some panning shots. So settled down to concentrating on the road in front with the lens following every car passing by.

Since it was the first time, the initial shots were either blurred or over-exposed due to slower shutter speed. But with some guidance from Ela, our local guide and photography expert, I was able to hit the sweet spot and got some decent shots.

I am sure there will be another time to try this again and hopefully sooner than later. And hopefully I should have some better pictures then.
